Thursday (Aug 16) - House 17

Upon our last visit on Thursday, we visited the house of Slavik and Luda who have 4 girls and 3 boys. The two oldest daughters are learning piano and they all want to go to school. Luda said that the kids are doing well in school, sometimes misbehaving but receive high grades nonetheless. She had also mentioned that the kids had been very healthy and she praises God that He has been graceful to have been taking care of her family.

Thursday (Aug 16) - House 16

Tamara is 81 years old and lives by herself because she’s never been married in her life. She has poor vision and can’t walk very far by herself, therefore stays at home. We’ve been blessed to have visited Tamara because we saw how spiritually strong and on fire she was for God, setting all dependence upon Him. We had a wonderful opportunity to sing songs with her and pray for her and her relatives who are not Christian.

Thursday (Aug 16) - House 15

We had a chance to visit a woman who is not Christian but is of Orthodox religion. When she was younger, she came from Poland with her parents and used to practice one version of faith. Currently, she is 70 years of age and has had 3 strokes in her lifetime which had caused her difficulty in speaking and weakened her lower back. Although she has a hard time hearing, we had the chance to share the Gospel with her, sing a few songs and pray together.

Thursday (Aug 16) - House 14

On Thursday morning, we had a chance to visit Jenya Kutsaya who lives by herself. She lives in an apartment but doesn’t have the opportunity to visit church for 6 years now. Jenya isn’t able to walk far distances because she uses 2 canes to support herself when she stands. We had a wonderful opportunity to sing songs, read the Word of God, pray with her and bless her with household necessities.

Wednesday (Aug 15) - House 13

We made a visit to Lena’s house who has 6 children and stays at home as a full-time mother. Her husband is currently working in Russia who is trying to support his big family in any way possible. We had the opportunity to bless the family with household necessities and prayed that God blesses them and raise their children to be servants of God.

Wednesday (Aug 15) - House 12

We visited a widow by the name of Maria who has a son, and a few daughters. They currently live with their grandma in a village while her son lives with her. Her son found himself a girlfriend in which she feels uncleanliness and a burden each time the girlfriend visits. With the son growing up without a father, he's been hiding his difficulties and struggles and thinks he's found someone he can open up to. We prayed with her about her family and her son and Maria believes and received a word from God that hapineness will soon come to her family.

Wednesday (Aug 15) - House 11

We had a chance to visit Larissa's family who has 12 kids and was happy to see fellow brothers and sisters in Christ visit her family and assist with household necessities. She was inspired to see us in our young years serving God and had really wished that some of her kids, who had stepped away from God, would come back and see them serve God as well. We had a chance to pray about her desperate need as a mother that her children are saved and are ready to dwell with Christ no matter what circumstances come in life.

Wednesday (Aug 15) - House 10

We visited a family consisting of Illya (father), Sergey (son), Andrey (son), and Anna (daughter). His wife left him because she is an alcoholic and Illya is having a hard time moving around with one leg missing and with stores currently out of parts to install a replacement. Towards the end of our visit, we were blessed to have prayed with Illya and Sergey who desired to repent before God. We also had the chance to pray for Andrey who was laying in bed with sickness and having the chance to see his well being the following day.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - House 9

Julia is a young widow who has one girl but had lost her husband because of cancer. Her husband loved to go hunting, video record, write poems, songs and play guitar. Unfortunately, the end of his life has brought it all to an end. She received remodeling help from brothers, in Christ, who had done a wonderful job in support of her loss. We blessed her with the household necessities and worshipped our Lord together. The next day she had mentioned that people on the other floors heard it and were curious, praise the Lord! She has a great opportunity to share Christ with them.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - House 8

Sister Lena lives in an apartment with her husband, 3 daughters, and 1 nephew. She hasn't visited church for two years now because of multiple health problems, but she thanks God for helping her live. Her daughter was with us during the visit, who also has many health problems, but they thank God for everything. She has been through many tough times in her life, including hunger, but she continues to praise God that she's alive and that we were able to visit her.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - House 7

Sister Raya has not been to church for approximately 15 years due to her illness with spine and many other sicknesses in her old age. She is a member of Balti church and cannot attend but remains to be faithful in prayer and reading of God's Word. She has 8 kids but most of her kids are not Christian and lives on her retirement with only some of her kids helping her out financially.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - House 6

Andrey has just recently become a member of the church. Youth comes to visit him occasionally. His granddaughter, Julia, takes care of both him and his wife. The granddaughter is currently going to school - her parents live somewhere else in the meantime. She stayed behind to take care of her grandparents. He lost his legs due to "congrena". We explained how Jesus is the vine and we are the branches and how we cannot do anything without Him for He strengthens us and gives us life.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - Mission House (5)

We have visited a Mission House that feeds the homeless and the less fortunate with food for the flesh as well as with spiritual food. About 95% of these people do not know Christ and the blessing He brings into one's life. We sang a few songs and shared the good news of the Gospel. These people are fed three times a week. A husband and wife, Terry and Jordana have dedicated their life to serving these people. He was born in France and she was born in Italy. They speak Italian to each other, but also know English, Russian, French, and a little Romanian.

Tuesday (Aug 14) - House 4

Tatyana is a young mother of 3 young boys and a young girl: Philip, Ilyusha, Nastya and Mark. She has been married for 8 years and lives in a small house. The oldest son Philip is 7.5 years old and the youngest, Mark is almost 24 months. The oldest son Philip is going to start school this year. We found the kids to be very playful and almost a handful to their stay-at-home mother. We sang a few songs, blessed them and prayed for them. We wish them the best!

Monday (Aug 13) - House 3

At the third house, we visited Aleksey, Nadia, and Oksana. Aleksey and Nadia are elderly folks who are unable to walk far distances and therefore unable to attend church. Oksana is their daughter who is in her early 30s but is mentally challenged. In the early 1999, the family has accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. They were very thankful and had blessed us all as we were leaving.
