Monday (Aug 13) - House 1

At the first house, we visited a sister by the name of Lena who is a widow, has 2 kids and 3 nephews that live in one room of a small house. She recently had food poisoning and hurt her hips as she fell carrying water. She is in need of a surgery and can't do much around the house. As she struggles to survive, her walking is limited as one of her foot is 4 inches shorter and her kids and nephews try to sell fruits at the market. She says that during the winter season when it reaches -20 Celsius, the inside of her walls has 1-2 inches of ice. By the grace of God she is alive and surviving. We were very blessed that sister Lena said she felt a burden taken off of her upon our visit.
